Check out an acting workshop (Tips and advice)
November 16, 2009 2:51PM
Hi Talent6 members! It's Maria from Casting again. A great way to get some acting experience for the nervous and early beginners is to check out acting workshops. Workshops always have a small class size of about 10 people which allows you to get as much one on one focus as possible.

If you sign up with Talent6 Video Acting Lessons, you can get some great acting workshop training right at home. Either way, online or out at an acting school, immersing yourself in as much acting practice as possible is the best way to sharpen your skills. Practice makes perfect!

Best of luck!

Modeling audition (Wish me luck)
November 9, 2009 11:48AM
I haven't done any modeling work before and thought I'd expand my wings with a simple casting call that needs models' body parts for an educational medical pamphlet. Though I have no modeling experience, I thought showing my elbows and feet can't be that hard, right? Wish me luck! Even if I don't get the job, I'll at least break my fear of going to a modeling audition.

Thanks T6.

Easy cash... (Success story)
November 2, 2009 12:44PM
I worked a promo event in San Francisco on my day off from work. Best part is that I made an easy $80 for 3 hours of work. I basically passed tshirts around and lured conference participants to visit my booth.

Thanks Talent6. I took your advice working all opportunities that came my way and made good money for 3 simple hours of work. I'm going to keep a look out for more promo events to come.
